WCE | Citi Introduces Secondary School Students to Careers in Banking

Aveline San, Citi Hong Kong CEO and Head of Banking, together with colleagues from the Citi Women Network hosted students from CCC Kei Heep Secondary School.  The visit was organized as part of WCE’s ongoing support of Project WeCan, a Business-in-Community initiative aimed at empowering less privileged youth. 

During the visit, Aveline provided insights into the transformative impact of AI on banking, including how Citi is using AI to enhance workplace efficiency and productivity, as well as the importance of AI skills for the future of work. Students also gained a comprehensive understanding of Citi’s organizational structure, career opportunities and recruitment process.  The day concluded with a tour of Citi Tower, focusing on the various wellness facilities, which underscore the bank's commitment to sustainability and employee well-being.
